Huckleberry PickingĬhewelah Peak is a well-known spot for huckleberry picking. You can also stop by the Ticket Office at the main lodge during business hours for more information. There are no set non-motorized trails, but the land is open to the public. There are several service roads in the West, Central, and East Basins that are perfect for mountain biking. Lifts do not operate during the summer season. Spring Skiingįor those who want to continue chasing spring turns after we close, the mountain is open to the public. Excellent conditions can exist all the way into June, and sometimes July. Lifts will not be operating and the mountain will not be patrolled, so make sure to carry necessary supplies, be prepared for all situations and inform someone before you go.
